How to use landscape fabric?

Veijun Landscape Fabric acts as a superior weed control fabric and is used in many applications including under garden gravel paths, decorative layers such as mulching bark chippings, stone chippings, pebbles or gravel for chemical free weed control. Veijun weed control membrane is permeable, allowing nutrients, water and air into the soil to maintain it’s goodness, whilst preventing weeds growing.

1. Prepare th area where the fabric is to be laid by strimming any existing vegetation down to ground level. 

2. Remove any stalks or sharp abjects that could pierce the fabric. 

3. For area badly affected by weed growth, apply a suitable weedkiller. 

4. Lay the Landscape Fabric out and ensure joints are coverlapped by a minimum of 100mm. 

5. Secure using fixing pegs. The best way to secure the edges of the fabric is by “spitting” or “the fabric”100-150mm into the soil. 

6. Cover the fabric with alaye of bark or other mulch by a minimum of 50mm.
